I bought a couple of the only three beers that I found that sounded good, but only one of them was really enjoyable. In this store, however, while there was a whole aisle devoted to craft beer, only on section, maybe 5' wide, contained all the examples of these types that this store offered in the single beer section. Not only that, I am a lover of sweet, bold styles, Imperial Stouts, Milk Stouts, Pastry Stouts, Chocolate Stouts, Some Porters, Barrel Aged Stouts and Porters, Bocks, Dopplebocks, etc. Was thrilled to learn they were opening a store in Avon - my neighborhood! Unfortunately, I am a beer lover. I hadn't made it though because of the distance. I'd been wanting to go to a Total Wine & More, because of the MORE, for quite a while. After some discussion it was decided that I didn't need the certificate and we finally got to the class. I asked the lady if we had to have the certificate to have the class and when she said yes my first inclination was to cancel the class. After I told the lady at the counter what I was there for she asked for my certificate and since my wife made all the arrangements I didn't know what I was looking for and did not find a certificate. My wife was on the phone giving directions to the store to one of the attendees while I went to check in. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5-star was the attitude of the person we spoke to when we first got to the store. His knowledge of wines is exceptional and manner of presentation made the afternoon a real pleasure. Dave presented the wines in a manner that resulted in discussion and questions. We had a Wine Class on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
